Post Bajoran Occupation website -- now online!

Greetings in the name of the Prophets!

My Web site dedicated to the history of the Bajoran Occupation is finally up and running at
    http://remember-forever.tripod.com

It's written as a historical overview of the Cardassian Occupation of Bajor intended for the studies of Starfleet Academy students.

It's comprehensive -- I've attempted to include every single known fact about the Occupation from Next Generation, Deep Space Nine and Voyager.

For those of you expecting a LUGTrek-focused supplement, you may be disappointed. It's totally systemless to make it useful for general Trek fans as well as gamers (no matter what rules system they might be using).

Well, actually, I did post one of my Occupation-themed scenarios, which was written specifically for the LUGTrek rules ...

The historical section of the site is entirely canon, 100 percent, so anybody can use anything in it and feel secure that it's been blessed by the committee of wizards calling the shots at Paramount Studios.

Okay, I'm not the best Webpage designer in the universe, and I still need to populate it with lots of photos.

Nonetheless, I hope you enjoy it. And, if you don't mind, let me know what you think of it.

looks good. Its a shame that you only wanted to keep canon, as many of us are always looking for the names of the missing orbs!

Anyway, my only constructive critisism, is that the NPC's for your adventure could be a little more 'printer-friendly'.

    Nice One.

I've set the NPC stats as an html Web page, which has it's limitations. I'll look into possibly replacing it with the basic text version of the NPC stats, which also has its limitations but should be a lot easier to print.

    Thanks for the suggestion!

    UPDATE ...
    Now accessible for Netscape users!

I've modified the design of the site's home page ( http://remember-forever.tripod.com )after finding out that all of its links were incompatible with Netscape.

So any of you who just got to the home page and couldn't get any further -- feel free to try again!!!

And, of course, I'm still welcoming any constructive criticism anyone might care to offer ...

I think it could use some pics, e.g. the description of Terok Nor could be better illustrated, so that the people can see of what you are talking

You're not alone with that suggestion! Putting in a bunch of photos will definitely be my first priority when I have a chance to upgrade the site! Finding good photos from the Occupation years isn't exactly the easiest task, but I'm starting to build up a bit of a collection ...

People have also requested that I put in a bibliography listing each of the episodes that provided each bit of information, so I’ll get started on that in the near future as well.

I guess I’ve still got some work to do before my Web site becomes as good as it can get, but if this were too easy, it wouldn’t be fun!

    Thanks for the input!

I saw your page when you published the announcement here, and then I put it between my Star Trek reference bookmarks, in case I needed to consult something there.

Then, over the last month, I watched several episodes of Star Trek which were deeply Bajoran-related (DS9's 3rd season mainly) and I recalled your page, how complete it is, and the interview-style you used from the things the characters said on screen. Congrats for a well done job.
