Well, a couple of the species abilities really aren't needed. The Excellent climbers ability, for instance, appeared once and was basically used for comic relief; doesn't really need to be there. Hibernation was sort of the Denobulan version of pon farr, basically just there for color text since it doesn't come in to play too often.
I could really use someone to double-count the picks once I put the revised template up (one of these days in my copious unstructured free time).
Patrick Goodman -- Tilting at Windmills
"I dare you to do better." -- Captain Christopher Pike
I'm not sure if any writers had commented on this, but their implied lifespan might be the result of a line not being caught in time (like the statement from DS9 placing the Eugenics Wars in the 22nd Century).
The climbing thing's kind of cool, though, and it's something that will come up during episodes.
Hibernation doesn't need the specific skill penalities; just fatigue tests.
Keeping track of the social thing sounds kind of like a hassle though. Maybe a flat -2 to academic tests after a few (undefined or stat-dependant) days of non-interaction?
And Species Enmity... that might just apply to 22nd century Denobulans.
