    Wasn't K9 and company bad enough the first time round hehe..

    It was bound to start spinning off into silly directions, I'll be interested to see what directions both new shows take!

    I loved K9. I always thought he was one of the most useful companions any Doctor ever had. K9 and Leela were my favorite companions so far.

    And yet Tom Baker used to hate K9 on a personal level...

    I heard he disliked the character of Leela as well, since both were threatening to become more popular than him.

    Thinking of it, I always found the way Leela left the series to be disappointing... and K9's last episode was also a bit cruel for the character IMO.

    Now I don't quite like the picture of the new K9, who looks a bit too much like the robot-dogs toys we've seen appearing recently... Just hope this show won't turn into a cartoonish silliness...
