    Talking Sup?

    Hi all.

I was browsing through some items and decided on a whim to swing on by and see how things were going on. What's the latest in the land of Star Trek role-playing?

For my part I'm finishing graduate school here in the next month, my son just turned one, and am playing in a weekly Trinity game at the moment. Still trying to talk them into some Star Trek gaming! One writing project on the burner, but nothing major; mostly focused on vanity work.

Gave up contacting Decipher several months ago; they clearly had no interest in working with me on the Trek RPG in any capacity, although I expressed my willingness to anyone who'd listen. Still in touch with some of the old guard (Matt Colville) on occasion, but near as I can tell Ross Isaacs has fallen off the face of the planet. Wish I could reach him.

I hope everything is going on well here!

You know, it's funny you should ask.

My daughter turns 5 months on Sunday. Where'd all that time go?

    Hi Don.

Nice to see you up and around. There seems to be some 'movement' in the .pdf area of Trek RPG at least there are some pointers But I guess you know that (or have read about it here).

I'd like to ask you a personal question: I have tried to contact Dave Biggins and have utterly failed so far. Have you any knowledge if he has come home alright from Afghanistan?
I just thought I'd ask you as well...

    Thanks.

    Regards, Cut

Gah! The ghost of Trek-RPG past!

Hi, Don! Nice of you to stop by.

Hi Don, glad you dropped around!

I'm working on a CODA-based skirmish system (equivalent to D&D or Star Wars minis but cooler ). It seems to be turning into my Klingon Book, in that things keep getting in the way, but it's still percolating.

Dude, I don't even know who's in your group, when you play, or what you play!

You'd think for two Trek gamers in the same city we'd be like...coordinated or something!

You know about half the group, actually (Randy, Bruce & Len). The remainder (Bryan, Doc & Tim) are friends from at least two previous jobs (and one current one). Alternating Saturdays. Currently playing CP2020 (a cop campaign), but will be going back to Trek in a couple of months...

Too true! And we were, once. Damn life getting in the way, anyway!
