    These are just examples. there are other potential choices for those areas.

    Rules:

    1: if You're using Quantum Torpedoes, you may increase the damage range by 5
    2: if you're using Tri-Cobalts, you cannot have spread capable launchers for thm, however, you can add 40-60 to the damage range.
    3: if your ship has ablative armor, add 2 points per point of size, up to the ship's full Size.
    4: You can have Pulse Phasrs on your ship, by selecting a normal beam wpn damage stt and add 5 points to the damage and subtract 100,000 km ffrom the range.
    5: You can have Plasma Torpedoes with non-spread cap launchers and have a close damage of 20-80 and have a point subtracted for every 30,000 k th wpn travels at. +2

    I take it there are suppost to be tabs in there?

    I'm a little confused by this part however "20-30/30-40"

    To decipher is this about the same?

    Rather than writing up a system that seems similar to FASA, with ship classes, why not base this off of SPACEDOCK? It would probably be a lot easier to design (most of the work has been done) and simplier to use.

    That is pretty much what Decipher did with STARSHIPS (STARSHIPS is different, but you can tell that it was influenced by SPACEDOCK).

    Phoenix, you're right. ANd the Shield ranges are:

    Min-Max NOrmal Protection/Min-Max Reinforcement Limit.
    And, I like FASA Stuff... Heh, I made that system based on it.

    Ah well, I shall keep adding on to this, and hopefully it will become more... complete.

    It would proably be better if you wrote this stuff up as a Spreadsheet and then put the spreadsheet up on the board. The post system doesn't give many options for formatting/spacing.
