It was an.. odd interpretation of the Baton Rouge from Aridas Sofia on the Starship Recognition Chart. The painting of the Moscow has some bizzare lines on the pylon, which can easily be interpreted this way.

I decided that the Nordenskjold, however, was a survey cruiser equipped with newer sensors, etc, than the Baton Rouge (hence the Connie saucer underside, instead of the 'super-preggers' version Aridas originally had).

The problem with it is that, without altering the nacelle pylons to preserve proportions, it looks totally unbalanced... It's a common thing with designs, I suppose, in that you have to maintain the appearing of the secondary hull proceeding like an extension or module from the primary hull–which implies a non-terrestrial shape of movement–rather than the secondary hull looking like a base with stuff sticking out of it–which doesn't suggest movement at all–as the Nordesomething looks like.

Constant Warwick Class Frigate, based loosely on the SFB Early Frigate

    Akula Class - SFC/Interplay

Ranger Class Explorer, Circa 2219, if LUG's backstory was anywhere near accurate for the design...

    Shepherd Class Escort

One of FASA's most obscure, mentioned in the main 1st edition rule-book and then completely forgotten.

A long, long time in coming (and a long, long time to make), the Tikopai class, based on the Phase II Enterprise. Actually, so far as I know, it’s the most accurate version of the Phase II Enterprise OUT there, aside from the FJ-style markings.

Another Animated Series redo, the ‘Huron’. A bit tricky, since the various views were all slightly different (particularly in the aft lines).

    Independence Type Freighter
    NCC-F-1900, Circa 2260

    Frobisher Class Clipper (SRF)

    Ashanti Class Frigate (From Spacedock)

This is actually slavish to the dimensions and mass given for the ship, which I personally think are notably OFF.
