    Cool looking TOS sites please?

    Hi

I'm trying to set up a webpage for my TOS era rpg campaign, and I really want to make up a page that looks TOS - ish, if you get my meaning. I'm looking for some inspiration and would be grateful if anyone could point me at websites that have that TOS feel as a source of inspiration.

Here's a link to my Star Trek campaign central page although there's not much there at the moment.

    By the way.

Can I just say, I haven't posted here in a while and it feels good to be back.

    Cheers

Hey hey, welcome back! Wish I could help you out, but all the Trek sites i've ever seen have gone off TNG-style looks and graphics. If I run across any TOS-style ones i'll be sure to post something up here.

It's not a website, but some of the page layouts from LUG's TOS Core Book might be visually stimulating.

And of course welcome back, we like our members.

It's a good idea and that's the kind of look i'm aiming for, just not sure how to implement it on the screen yet. My website skills are pretty rudimentary.

PM some of the other members here that have websites and ask for advice.

    Rennie.

The best way to design a site (IMNSHO) is using Fireworks MX or Photoshop.

Insofar as TOS graphics/look is concerned, consider yourself lucky that you've got the field pretty much to yourself! Check out the Tech Manual and Bernd's website for ideas on graphics - and don't forget TOS color-scheme (bright primary colors suitable for the NBC peacock).

Good luck, looking forward to seeing the results!
