    Last I heard, they're moving the entire production to England rather than shoot most locations in New Zealand.

    I'm still skeptical about the Hobbit film release year. It took them a year in pre-production to set up Hobbiton on a private farmland in Matamata. I hope they're not thinking of cheating digitally.
