    I like them both:

I have voted on Eridani Clipper and expected to win with that! So I can easily stick to my first vote.

But: Clipper Eclipse sounda very Pink Floyd and I like that sound. So I could live with that very well, as well.

Honestly, SeaTyger, I like them both. Just pick what suits your mood best, it's your game after all

I would prefer Clipper Eclipse, not because of the band Pink Floyd (which I have not heard, nor do I plan to), but because of the connection to the honorable and late Mr. Roddenberry . . . whom we all owe a debt of graditude for thinking up the universe which we all have come to love and enjoy.

I put my vote on Clipper Eclipse. But that is just because I had to vote on something. Eridani Clipper works just as fine by me.

You don't have to vote one way or the other . . . you can always abstain.

I think that given the chance to vote, nobody should abstain. But let's turn this not into something political, shall we

    I vote Clipper Eclipse!

    Mostly for the Roddenberry connection.

But, the Eridani Clipper is pretty cool to; maybe they could be a sister ship (rivals, or maybe part of our trade convoy that gets offed by Dominion/Cardy forces as we make a break for it), or someone could use it as the last ship they served on, which would make a nice mix with the early suggestion!

Ok for Clipper Eclipse, for the Roddenberry connection as well

Political Discussions are not bad in moderate doses, and if both parties keep an open mind. When both parties start yelling at each other . . . then someone has gone to far.

I have a cousin is who a middle-left liberal, and I would consider myself a center of the right conservative . . . and we debate all the time . . . and at one time, we got to yelling . . . but we learned that got us no where but angry at each other . . . rather then enjoying playing games with each other, we would aviod another . . . so we learned to know when enough is enough . . . and to be more open minded . . . you can't learn expand your horizens, if you don't look up.

But anyways . . . to abstain is a vote . . . but note as strong, or decisive as a yea or nay vote . . . but a vote that neither choice is a good one . . . imagine if one had to get a majority of all voting, rather then the normally used larger stack then yours, or first past the goal post systems often used today . . . then it would change a lot of elections, polls, and referendums . . .

But this is coming from someone who can find enjoyment in watch CSPAN.

Why My Wife Loves me, I haven't the foggiest why . . . but I am happy and thankful that she does . . . oh that and one day, I will put physical dice in her hands, rather then some /dice code thingy

So, my vote counts as five votes, right? Just kidding.

The PC ship's name is the SS Clipper Eclipse, part of a three-ship convoy that includes the SS Eridani Clipper and the SS Roger C. Carmel. Master Einar Rockne commands the convoy from the Eridani Clipper, which is escorted by the refitted (2358 version) Mediterranean-class frigate USS Caspian. The convoy is normally part of a larger fleet of 12 ships, commanded by Commodore Alaara Endilev, the Marchenti Corporation's most-experienced merchant captain.

The convoy's mission is to bring supplies to Federation assets providing humanitarian aid to Cardassian systems indirectly affected by the Klingon invasion. The convoy has approximately six months remaining on its three-year deployment before it is scheduled to return to Deep Space 9.

Do you think TFVanguard might do us a nice picture of our ships, if we ask him nicely?

Sorry about the recent silence, gents, but RL has kept me busy for the last couple weeks. Between work, school, my face-to-face gaming group and talks with publishers for my Renaissance campaign setting, I haven't had time to put together some stock NPCs and write up the specifics of the first couple adventures.

If you gents would like, I could use a hand with some stock characters. Would anyone familiar with Coda be willing to make the folowing: generic starship engineer, generic starship bridge officer (Ops or Flight), generic starship medical officer, generic merchant, generic soldier, generic starship command officer? I would need the stats for 0 advancements, 5 advancements and 10 advancements. Don't apply species templates; I'll take care of that (for species skills, just use "homeworld" and "racial" in place of proper homeworld and species names).

    Any volunteers?

    Do I have everyone's characters?

I am a little busy right now myself, but if you wouldn't need them right away, I could try to take on one or two. I myself have usualy build CONN officers. Might have one actually handy I could work from and always wanted to build a CMO. But again, it would take me at least til next week-end. If that's soon enough, count me in.
