    Visual Aids - Identity Cards

These are some Identity Cards that I've created for my players to use as props. The Starfleet versions were redrawn from a graphic I found some time ago (don't remember where though! The KDF version is obviously a variation of the Starfleet design.

If I find the time, and depending upon demand, I may be persuaded to create form fillable pdf templates of these files.

Yerp, I recognise those! Here are my versions: http://www.coldnorth.com/owen/game/s...ource/card.gif

Dunno, I prefer my versions, with Starfleet insignia and rank pips, and with the Swiss911 font used onscreen - looks more "Star Trekky." I also have to wonder why the Klingons would use a card based on Federation ones, unless this is a card issued by the Federation to a visiting diplomat...

The card was adapted from a Morrow Project ID card designed by a chap named Brannon W. Boren. Here are his original cards: http://www.coldnorth.com/owen/stuff/mcard.gif

Erm . . . I did use Swiss911 fonts for the text on the Starfleet ID cards. I took great pains to match the cards you had as closely as possible. I do have a version kicking around somewhere that uses the pips too.

The KDF card has been created for a character who's serving onboard a Federation vessel as part of an Officer Exchange Program from the KDF.

The other 'option' would be to designate these cards as 'standard issue' for all Federation citizens. Obviously with variations in the colour schemes and designs for each member species.

    Just my thoughts anyway!

What about making these files into form-fillable versions?

Hmmm. Shows up as some funky font when I look at your ,PDFs. I do get an error message about a broken file when opening that one, though - is it possible that Adobe screwed up when it was embedding your font file (or that my Adobe is screwing up when reading it, for that matter)?

Absolutely no idea on that one! Have a look under the Advanced section and check/uncheck Use Local Fonts - that could be the issue.
