A request for Character Creation Gurus

Good evening everyone.

We ran a fairly long game of ST-RPG about a year or so ago and had a blast! Now we are talking about starting another, this time, non-starfleet.

Would any Character Creation Gurus be willing to let me schedule a moment of your time to walk me through the character creation "As it's supposed to be done"?

In our last game, we were all fairly certain that we had not done it right, but still, we had a great time. This time, we all agreed, we would like to know character creation better. We have covered and covered the player guide, but are still not certain we're doing it right.

If any of you that know creation through and through would be willing to lend me a bit of your time I would be grateful.

I'm in Central US Timezone, and have most of my free time on the weekends, but some evenings in the week I could chat too.

Well, this is the simplest character creation summary I've come across; there's also an expanded one in an issue of BtFF (I don't recall which one though...).

Is there anything you're unsure about specifically?

If it is for Decipher version, pfft good luck, I gave up on figuring it out last year.
