Thread: Damage in the ICON System?

    Damage in the ICON System?

    Ok.

    Is this right?

My Klingon (NPC) has a Fitness 5, Vitality +2.

He is hit with a Phaser doing 42 damage.

He "Resists" 7 points initally, and takes 35 points of damage.

Each of his Wound Levels can withstand 7 Points.

So he loses 5 Wound Levels and is at Incapacitated.

    Is that correct?

If Matt Damon is going to be Captain Kirk, does that mean Ben Affleck is gonna be Mr. Spock?

It's been some time since I've last used the ICON rules, but ...

As a side-note remember that he gets incapacitated by stun-damage ( nerve-pinch, phaser on stun ) once he looses one complete health level - meaning, once 7 points of stun-damage get through.

    Thanks guys.

    I hear ya Ergi.

I used to use CODA but I found that ICON captures more of the Star Trek Spirit to me.

Stuns are easier, effects for taking damage, Starship COmbat rocks, etc.

Thanks again for both your input.
