    Exclamation Server maintenance Saturday March 31

    The site will be down March 31 for most of the day. The maintenance includes a complete reinstallation of the operating system and an upgrade of vBulletin.

    An estimate of the downtime will be posted sometime during next week.

    Just a reminder about the maintenance tomorrow

    About 14 hours until blackout (10 am, CET. 4 am East coast time) In the best case scenario, the forums will be back online about 6 hours later. However, 12 hours is more likely, and if the site is not back up after 24 hours, I am in trouble

    In any case, I am in for an interesting Saturday

    22 hours, and not quite done yet. But at least the forums are back up.

    Spent most of the time while the hosting company tried to connect the box to the installation media But after a lot of tries... well, they finally managed to sort it out.

    Guess I will have to do some of the stuff I had planned at a later date...

    Ironed out two kinks. One of them was that the email function didn't work.

    I also just realised that I now have been at it for 24 hours. To late to hit the bed if I intend to go up later today. To early if not.

    I hope everything works as it should. There are some settings that should be tweaked. But me touching them right now could be a bad idea...

    Ah, and JALU3, sorry about your post. But now you have the opportunity to make an even better one
