    Online Play?

Hi, I'm new to the ICON system but would like to play. I was wondering if anyone here knew of a good place to play online. Any input would be appreciated.

I don't really know of a place to play online.

I wouldn't mind running a game online, and I have been toying with the idea.

But I don't know how to do dice rolls over the internet.

If anyone can help me on how I would do dice rolls, then I might be persuaded to run a game.

There are a few programs out there for running a game online. THe range goes from free utilities that roll dice for a internet chat program to full fledged commical software that handle baqttlemaps and such too.

If you figure things out I'd like to play. No one local seems interested in playing in a Star Trek game. When I have some free time tomorrow I'll look into some dice rolling software and etc.

RPGnet has a PbP gaming forum if you want to play-by-post. I find that it goes much too slow for me though.

Although it's not ICON, SeaTyger is looking to host a game here on these boards using CODA.
Take a gander at the thread in the Gaming Hub.

    Schweeet!

    Thanks!

    Those are some great programs.

What I am looking for is a Dice Rolling Program that player A in Arizona can roll so that DM A in Florida can see.

When I find that, online games are on!!!!
If Matt Damon is going to be Captain Kirk, does that mean Ben Affleck is gonna be Mr. Spock?

Um, they both do that. I have used them but they both indicate that they have verification numbers that the GM can go to the website and verify the rolls. Irony will even email 2 others.
From this link: Irony Games' Web Dice, go to Irony Games' Dice Server - E-Mail version with PGP authentication.

Perhaps, I should start a thread with play over internet tools. Hm, should it be in Gaming Hub or Other RPGames?
