    The Nelson I really like; the split pylon doesn't look quite so vulnerable as it does on the original. The split isn't as wide, I guess.

    The Democratie is an interesting idea, but I can't stand the nacelle configuration. If they were angled up a bit and situated appropriately on their pylons, I think it would be better. It would certainly look less unbalanced to me.

    Why are the nacelles attached to the engineering hull, instead of to the Miranda-structure?

    Can I get an Avenger with a connie engineering hull?

    I kinda feel the same way. Having the engines turned sideways, even though I'm sure they still work just fine, just LOOKS weird. The rest of the design looks great, though.

    IMO the Democratie could be a forerunner of the Intrepid class.

    The hull configuration seems similar, just the shapes are TMP era.

    That doesn't necessarily make it any better, Cut, since I'm not altogether fond of the Intrepid class. To each their own, however.
