Fan based publications?

What is the legal ramifications of fan based CODA publications for LOTR RPG? Are we able to cite and qoute? Format? etc... anybody know?

Frankly, I'd say you could do what you want as long as you don't charge money for your product. The Hall of Fire has been going strong for three years and haven't stopped, and as far as I know, haven't been asked to stop by the powers that be.

The game is in the hands of the fans, so I say write what you want and provide it to your fellow fans.

I remember two things I am looking for. One being the LOTR RPG unoffical logo jpg. and the LOTR RPG fan pub disclaimer. Anybody know where it is?

I got the Lord of the Rings RPG logo out of my Paths of the Wise PDF, by cutting and pasting. Those released PDF's were not secured from copying and pasting at your leisure... I took the entire PotW supplement and copied it over to a Word Doc so that I could make a nice printer friendly version. Thinking about doing Isengard next!
