    Katsulas Class

    Katsulas Class.JPG
Here is a new Cruiser, the Katsulas.

    Information will soon appear here.

    How does it look?

It kind of reminds me of a guy with a big chin. Actually LEADING with the chin, no less. Besides the rather lopsidedness of the saucer section, which I'm guessing was a concious choice, the ship doesn't look too bad. The rest of it has pretty clean lines, and the neck section is quite stout looking.

All in all, pretty good work.

It was because of where I placed the neck, it was in the way of where I originally wanted to put the bottom of the saucer.

I also melded my TOS Miranda aft structure to part of a Constitution stardrive, and it even has two impulse engines because of that.

ICON Stats are coming up next.

Andreas Katsulas (the actor who played G'Kar on Babylon 5 and Commander Tomalok in a couple of episodes of TNG, was not without a rather prominent chin. I can't speak for Meteo, but I'm betting the class was named for Andreas, so that might have been a conscious choice.

I had placed much of the hull together, and I placed part of the saucer onto the neck, and had to reposition the bottom to keep it from blocking the neck. That's it.

And I did name it after Andreas Katsulas, although I probably should have made it a Narn Cruiser.

Nah, let's not cross our mythologies here. Tomalok was a Romulan; the Katsulas class should have been a Romulan ship of some sort.

I'll do another, Romulan ship then.

That doesn't make sense... why couldn't you just have the underbulge connect to the neck?

I was trying to keep there from being a black gap that I would have to fill in, sue to the cut and paste, and I also shortened the back of the saucer, contributing to the problem.
