Hmm we've had a bit of a spate of spamming lately. I don't think it was this user, but it maybe something to do with it, like an IP or something.. this may have just his 'testing the waters' post, and then spread on to dozens of other spam user accounts hmmm...

If it's of any help, a "MarkyMark" tried to sign up to my website's forum a couple of months ago. As it's a private game forum, I personally approve any memberships and he never responded to my request to introduce himself (which I think is a bad sign!). I was intrigued when the same name popped up here with a surprisingly non-specific introduction message.
And a spam post from another one-post user was here briefly a few days ago before it got deleted.
