    Who Season Five Confirmed

    Who Season Five Confirmed
The BBC confirmed that its hit Doctor Who series will return for a fifth season in the spring of 2010, meaning that the show will take a kind of break in 2009.

Perhaps Mr. Tennant has other contractual obligations which conflict with the set filming schedule of the fifth season of our current Doctor Who revival. Could he be needed for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince?

I mean good as in, I think the break/several different specials per year idea is a good one, as they've had maybe one brilliant episode per season and a whole bunch of meh ones.

Yeah they need to get Stephen Moffat to write more episodes and ditch the rest, so far most of my favourites have been by him

I believe David Tennant is working, on stage for the RSC, which is why he can't do the full series, but I believe they are doing 3 'specials' that year, to tide us over. How special they are depends who's writing them

As long as Sci-Fi Channel or BBC America air those specials in a timely fashion, I could live with a one-year hiatus.

You think I don't know that? What makes you think I didn't know that?

Dr Who fans will flock to his church
A CARDIFF priest loves Dr Who so much he is preaching to his congregation through the Time Lord.

Great! So far I keep liking the series overall, and even though some episodes do disappoint me (the end of Family of Blood comes to mind), there are only one or two of them I really didn't like. That's a good score.

BTW, has anybody watched the spin-off Torchwood ? From the summaries I read on TV.com, I got the impression it was a sort of "Who meets X-Files with an X-Rating", but summaries can hardly be considered a good way to judge a series...

The end of Family of Blood was my favourite part. They didn't really set it up enough, though.
