Busted a Gut Till I Thought I Was Going To Be Sick

One of my students - who is equally geek-oriented and proud of it, so we get along quite well - mentioned this bit; I dialed it up that night and proceeded to herniate myself. The next morning, instead of putting on a movie/Trek episode during breakfast as I usually do, I instead sat down in front of the machine and watched it again.

It's comic genius. Watch it through and if anyone knows the movies from which James Earl Jones' voice was taken to create the new "bits", please list them here. Enjoy.

Many of those lines came from The Great White Hope (1970).

I think also The Bingo Long Traveling All-Stars & Motor Kings (1976).

And I've just spotted Soul Man, for lines like "You've learned a great deal more than I thought."

You're a Starfleet Officer. "Weird" is part of the job.
When the going gets weird, the weird turn Pro
We're hip-deep in alien cod footsoldiers. Define 'weird'.
(I had this cool borg smiley here, but it was on my site and my isp seems to have eaten my site. )
