    History: The L-3 was an older, heavily upgraded dreadnought, one of the first used by the Klingon Empire. While it performed well from it's launch in 2228 to the 2260s, it quickly became outdated and practically a lunbering cruiser despite upgrades. The class numbered 15 in total, and were all retired in 2309
