    Talking Newcomers

    Hi folks,

I've been pretty quiet of late, but I thought you might like to hear my news:

On Thursday, 18th October, my wife gave birth (by Caesarian) to twins: Matthew and Erin. Both babies are doing well, both parents are shattered for some reason...

On top of that, I was offered a full-time job (after five months searching) in London about a week beforehand. I started on Monday, and am just about coping with the 2 hour rail commute so far! (On top of the lack of the sleep from the babies, it's not quite so good!)

Life's looking a little better around here right now

Congratulations! Seems to be a rash of new babies; My sister gave birth to my neice on the 17th: I couldn't get her to hold on until the 31st!

    Whimp!

    At any rate, Congratulations!

Fabulous news, congratulations on all 3 accounts from me also! (Except for the commute part which has to seriously suck!)

That said I have a 1 hour Metro commute on the days I don't get a lift

Congradulations on all your endeavors . . . and have more babies . . . even though there is a demographic downturn . . . that doesn't mean that you can't help make a dent into it
Plus won't it be fun making that dent

    Thanks all!

We're now a month in and I've started getting some sleep... I'm still getting the hang of commuting, or I'd risk dozing on the train! The babies are growing well - I might post a pic or two at some point
