Don't want to spoil your fun, but earth-like planets are not "M-Class". Current technology cannot determine the exact composition of planets, because visual detection would be necessary for that ( spectroscopy ). "Earth-like" planets means they are terrestial, which refers to the composition and density of the planet. They are no gas-giants, but solid planets. Pluto is also no terrestial planet, because of a fewer density.
