    True, but really is a Patrol Cruiser that far off from a Frigate as far as capabilities go. Plus it's not like we haven't seen the same frame fill diferent catagories (Maranda series and the Klingon BoP line being the primary examples).

    If I remeber the Loknar is a little more advaced and carried more crew and is used in places that something like a patrol cruiser would be out matched. It was just something I scribbled out years ago.

    Years ago I saw the Type 17 Shuttlepod on some one's sight and then I generated up some figures for it. If some one knows of the web site that this shuttle is from please let me know. I remeber that it had a few Shuttles with differnt markings and one that was green with Spacebug on the side (I think that it has something to do with Red Dwarf).

    Here is something I was playing with.

    Starships of the 31st century
    In Star Trek Enterprise, there was a couple of small vessel that was presented from the 31st century that was larger inside than on the outside. Although these vessels were rather plain looking on the outside a cylindrical tube with the appearance of little room on the inside with only room for the pilot and a passenger.

    Design your ship like normal but for tactical reasons the size is that of the exterior size. In combat, a size eight starship such as a Galaxy-class or Sovereign-class could easily be a size six.

    Size Distortion Hull
    For each size, the exterior differs from the interior of the vessel in size costs 10 power and 2 x size of difference. This is listed under the specialized hull.

    The atmospheric and Planetfall capability is listed under the specialized hull is that of the exterior of the ship. All the rest of the specialized hull cost the normal for the interior size.

    The Exterior hull cost is that of the Exterior size of the vessel.

    Structural integrity field cost an extra four to the cost of SU’s and one point to the cost of power and double the power cost.

    Shields Cost the Exterior size not the interior cost.

    Here's something I forgot that I was working on. I'll try to finish it after the Holiday Season.

    The Fully Automated Combat Machine

    An automated warships would have thirty-two percent increase in Structural Unit’s that are removed do that there are none of the following list of equipment. The warship could have heavier weapons and more of the ones that are available to the species that has created the vessel. Using a Galaxy-class as a thumbnail looking at modifying it as an automated vessel before building up a design as a full version of an automated vessel.
    Much like the Romulan Holographic warship from the fourth season of Star Trek Enterprise being remotely control from the Romulan home world. Yet, a fully automated warship acting on it’s own much as the Cardassian Dreadnought that appeared in one of the Star Trek Voyager episodes.
    What truly inspired the idea of a fully automated vessel was the Novel Goliath by Steve Alten. A super submarine with a biological DNA based computer that become psychotic and begins looking for where a human sole is. While doing so it kills many of the crew one after another in its search. If you have a chance it is a good book to read at least once.
    Years ago a Star Trek Children’s Record had a pair of battling fully automated vessels that Kirk and the Enterprise Crew encountered. I haven’t heard the story in a long, long time or even remember the name of the story. The Andromeda Ascended was one of these automated vessels but in Spacedock it is limited.

    Crew Quarters
    The crews are not present as the vessel is completely automated and has no need for a place for biological units to sleep. On an automated version of the Galaxy-class for an example would be dropping 337 crew quarters alone. If translated into seven main phaser arrays mounted on the saucer.

    Environmental Systems
    Basic Life Support, Reserve Life Support, Emergency Life Support, Gravity, Food Replicators, Medical Facilities, Recreation Facilities, and Personnel Transport: Turbolifts, and Escape Pods.

    Power systems
    The beefing up the ships power systems might be required if the weapons and other systems are upgraded.

    OPERATIONS SYSTEM
    Bridge, Auxiliary Control Room, Separation System and from the sensor system the Probes.

    Inertial Damping Field
    The ship only need at least on dampening system for the main and backups.

    Te ship really does not require the Emergency communications systems.

    The ship requires maybe a cargo transporter and it could be a lower yield transporter.

    No crew the specialized system is needed.

    Very much like the specialized system, no crew to operate in the laboratories.

    Tactical Systems
    With the drop of the other systems the weapons can be the added. The addition of fifteen percent or more of weapons using the removed systems Su’s.

    Shields
    Sense there is no crew the shields can be lowered or left as the same. The ship such as a galaxy-class that is automated the vessel can stand in battle longer with high her weapons.

    Auxiliary Spacecraft System
    Sense an automated vessel does not require the extra shuttlecrafts the Shuttlebays would be small and minimal. The average would be able to house at least one shuttlecraft (size 2) larger ships would have room for two.

    An automations Computer’s ODN
    Removing the ODN systems from the ship and its sub systems. This computer system will cost six times size in SU’s costing four in power. This is an extensive systems requiring only one computer core. In a galaxy class would have one core designated as a primary core and the other two for storage.

    Automated Repair Systems
    The repair of the ship would require two additional repair systems looking much like the system that repaired the Enterprise NX-01 after its brush with the mine field, early in the of the second season of Star Trek Enterprise.
    Costing Ten times the size in SU’s and four times in cost in size of power.
