    Oh that's not exactly a hard game to play I think we can all reel off a few dozen errors in continuity off the tops of our heads

    Which is exactly why people shouldn't be up in arms over hallowed canon being tossed out with the new Star Trek film.

    I also think canon shouldn't be an overly huge concern when Narrating your own adventures. If Star Trek's witers can ignore canon to make a good story, why should a Narrator limit his or her own adventures by slavishly sticking to canon, esp. since what is canon isn't always easy to identify.
