History: In Sigma Universe, the Constitution class was the product of advanced technology, including high speed warp drive, a large number of Type VII Phaser Banks, and a heavy arsenal of Photon Torpedoes. It was also rather small compared to the Constitution Classes of most other universes.

    Noteworthy Vessels/Service Records/Encounters:
U.S.S Constitution (NCC-1700), Prototype, Flagship of the first fleet, U.S.S Enterprise (NCC-1701), see extensive documentation, U.S.S Yorktown (NCC-1717), destroyed by highly advanced alien vessel, U.S.S Monitor (NCC-1832), made first contact with the Breen and Tzenkethi.

I assume its just a way to explain the differences in the ships between those designed in 1960's pre actual manned spaceflight on a tiny TV budget, and the same ship redesigned 50 years later on a massive CGI budget and modern technology aesthetic...

Y'know, alternate reality, the ones that seem to crossover every other Thursday.

Meteo, I assume this is just guess work based on the shiney, rather than some secret knowledge passed down to you by Harry Knowles? What changes have you made to the standard TOS template and why?

I decided to do a really advanced "What if?" one with TMP firepower such as what was on the model in the picture. I also included it's smaller sized stardrive and various other odds and ends, like ludicrously advanced warp drive (We'll probably see Warp 9 be reached in the film.) and advanced shields.

I'll be doing Sigma and Eta (the Trek universe I'm used to) versions of the Kelvin soon.
