    [TREK XI] The USS Kelvin

An article on Trekmovie.com about the Intel promo site's tech briefing on the USS Kelvin.

    Interesting notes:
    • The technobabble is all canon-friendly so far. Go nadion particles!
    • The Kelvin looks pretty much like a 1-nacelled Ranger.
    • The alien crewmember looks a little (sorta, kinda) like a Kasheeta.

    Good find, TK.

Interesting design for the Kelvin (wait, isn't that the name of the guys from the Andromeda galaxy?) I wonder why they went with a single Nascell (i think i remember hearing a commment once about most fed ships having two external nascells, unlike some other species, like Cardassians)?

I like the look of the Alien Crewmember; could he be an Edosian, like Arex?http://memory-alpha.org/en/wiki/Arex Just a thought.

Re-introducing a TAS species! Now that would show they have been doing their homework, and add all sorts of coolness.
