    Ship bridge schematics

I am looking for blueprints as seen sometimes on screen on consoles, screens etc.

I know that there is something like that out there, I think I own some physical sheets of the Galaxy class somewhere, but would like to add to that more.

I would be interested in the Generations version of the Galaxy bridge, Intrepid, Defiant and Souvereign class ships.

    Can you help?

Try finding Gilso's work (my link seems to be dead), IIRC he drafted up a few Trek Bridges.

EDIT: Alright, found the link http://www.cygnus-x1.net/links/lcars/gilso.php
Bridges are down at the bottom of the page. Enjoy.

All the way down on the right side of the page are some bridge illustrations:

While they're not technically blueprints, those bridge illustrations are great. They're perfect for visualizing a bridge to players who may be unfamiliar w/ the bridges of various starships (both alien & Federation).

My only beef w/ these illustrations is that some bridges on some of the starships seem awfully small compared to the overall size of the ship. For example, the bridge of the Romulan Warbird seems tiny compared to a ship that is as large, if not larger, than a Galaxy-class starship. And why are there so few manned positions for such a large ship? The Warbird bridge shows only 5 manned positions. One would think that a Romulan Warbird's bridge would be larger & have more crewmen on the bridge.

Compare the Warbird bridge to that of the USS Pasteur, a medical ship. The Pasteur's bridge has seats for 7 crewed positions & appears much larger than the Warbird's bridge. Even the Intrepid, a ship we know is a lot smaller than a Romulan Warbid, has a larger bridge w/ 8 crewed positions.

Of course, I don't blame these illustrations which I think are pretty faithful to the actual bridges depicted on the show. The problem is the limited budget of the TV shows meant they couldn't always make large sets for every bridge of every starship shown. It's jsut cheaper to make a small Romulan bridge than build a large one.

I think the illustrations make it a little obvious how often set pieces were reused, too... how many times does that u-shaped console show up in Voyager?

    Thanks, Renny.

    There's even an NX bridge!
