    Ricardo Montablan dead at age 88.

    Wow, seems like we're losing more of our good friends.

    From good guys to bad, Mr. Montablan was a great character actor whos work spans both the decades and genres. A friend of mine actually only knows him from the "Spy Kids" movies! I don't know which role I'll remember him best for: Khan Noonien Singh or Mr. Roarke. Both were such interesting performances it's really hard to choose.

    Btw., I just read on IMBD where he had agreed to play Khan in ST2:WoK for only $100,000 because he loved the role! (alot of other little things on there too, take a look, if you would like to) http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0001544/

    According to IMdB, in 1993 he had a lengthy surgical operation on his spine to repair an old injury he received while filming <i>Across the Wide Missouri</i> in 1951. He was in constant pain for the rest of his life, and confined to a wheelchair as a paraplegic.

    I have only seen The Prisoner once shortly before. Intersting piece of TV history, to say the least. Didn't know that someone here had seen the series as well.

    It's always sad to see someone go. My thoughts are with their families.
