I feel like someone's been working my face over with an axe-handle. Otherwise, OK...

And the MCA is done, same link as before. I've started on the Klingon Empire's notable locations, starting with Jonny's Retreat, which should be of interest to Starfleet Intelligence types working the Triangle...

After a bit of a wait, the Triangle maps are updated to show the Nausicaan and Breen territories: http://coldnorth.com/owen/game/start...n/triangle.htm , a notable planet in the Klingon Empire: http://coldnorth.com/owen/game/start...ngonempire.htm , and updates to the glossary and chronology: http://coldnorth.com/owen/game/start...e/universe.htm .

The latter pins down the events of Nemesis and NuTrek.

Minor corrections to the chronology and touch-ups to the Romulan Star Empire, including a pic of the Praetor and one of Tomalok's smiling face (Brrrrr). http://coldnorth.com/owen/game/start...ulanempire.htm

More touch-ups to the Rommies (sharpen the ears and comb the bowl-cut) including my treatment of the Romulan rank structure, which varies from Ross Isaacs views in the rank of Centurion.

Ooh, I remember the Centurion Wars of the Icon Era...

I think Kirk's posterior was needed to end the argument...

    Cool

To recap, Ross believed that because a Roman Centurion commanded 100 men, he was equivalent to a Flag officer. I believe that since a Centurion had to rise from the Ranks, and only commanded 100 men in a unit 0f 6000, he was a sort of Warrant officer bewteen an enlisted man and an officer, but above junior officers. And yeah, Dan's right. We should have invoked Kirk's ass, the ultimate argument-stopper!

Well Doug Drexler put up an article on Dan Curry on his blog, http://drexfiles.wordpress.com/ which contains a much better and more complete scan of the Klingon Anatomy image, which I have incorporated into my Star Trek: nomghar Klingon physiology page. The image is cool. Apparently Curry is a trained biomedical illustrator, and it shows in this illustration...

I always assumed that the officers were generally aristocratic or from wealthy families, while Centurions and such would be the top-ranking plebian crewmember.

That's my reading of the original Roman rank. Ross disagreed, so we'll let it lie at that.

Anyway, I've updated the Federation section, and added a Starbase 21 page. 100 bunos points* for anyone who can identify where I got the names of the XO, CMO and Counsellor for the base. Dale Stone is a combination of the names DALE Dye and Oliver STONE, and uses a picture of Dale Dye. The lower level of images are all from Nemesis and Generations.

    * a bunos point is 1/100,000,000 of a fotrune, and comes from the old Fidonet Trek Echo...
