    #TrekRPG Channel on IRC

Is that one actually stil active and being used?

This is the information found on the old Trek-RPG.Net site:
The channel is #TrekRPG and is found on Undernet. For a list of Undernet servers and IRC clients see http://www.undernet.org.

The channel is permanently registered and is online 24/7! Common meeting times online are 9 pm, EST.

As far as I know, Allen S. still is active here

I do check in from time to time

I'll check and see if the channel still exists.

As far as I can tell the channels no longer officially registered.

Which does not preclude someone reviving it if they wanted to.

I didn't manage to figure out how to connect by the web based client I used last time (in 2001... ). I am running Linux, so how I connected now might not be of much help. But XChat has Undernet as a preset provider. So I just clicked on that one, filled in that I wanted #TrekRPG as the preferred channel, and connected.

Maybe someone else can help with an easy help for those who prefer windows?

For Windows. I highly reccommend mIRC.

It has always worked well for me.

I will keep a connection open to the channel for the next few hours, in case anyone wants to test it. But as I am at work, I will have my attention elsewhere, and can be a bit unresponsive at times

I've got my channel open at this time. I'll be out and about during the after noon...but more than willing to chat with people
