    Psi attribute and Psionic edge

    Howdy all!

Am I reading character creation right? Psionic edge from say a Betazoid's race sets the Psi attribute at 4, correct?

Then, because have Psi, would have an additional 5 at least from a standard array? Or is that additional 5 considered the base instead of the 4?

By the rules as written, Psionic gives a Psi of 4 which is not affected by any other attribute determination method (Pick or Random).

By the errata on Patrick's site, Psi is treated like any other attribute. Use the rules for Random and Pick Method as shown in the errata.
