Just saw D9: I think it was a great film: didn't really seem to drag much anywhere; great realistic characters (even the large insectoid ones), and mind blowing effects. I even liked the choice of using different styles (going from what seems like a camcorder recording things for a company to security cam footage, to news footage, and then back to movie stuff) actually worked to tell this great story.
Hard to believe that the summers most original film came from the guys who were supposed to do the Halo movie! (but now i want D9 action figures!)
