Exclamation The Greatest Quote (may be controversial)

I am sure most of you have seen this, but for those who haven't.......

"One night a man had a dream. He dreamed he was walking along a beach with the LORD. Across the sky flashed scenes from the mans' life. For each scene, the man noticed two sets of footprints in the sand; one belonged to him, the other to the LORD.
    *
When the last scene of the mans' life flashed across the sky, he looked back at the footprints in the sand. He noticed that many times along the path of his life there was only one set of footprints. He also noticed that the sigle set of footprints happened at the very lowest and saddest times of his life.
    *
The angered man questioned the LORD about this. 'Lord, you said that once I decided to follow you , you would walk with me all of my days. But I have noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life, there is only one set of footprints. I don't understand why you would leave me when I needed you most.'
    *
The LORD replied, 'My precious, precious child. I love you and would never leave you. During your times of trial and suffering, when you see the one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you."

Pleh. The biggest controversy for me is the double-post.

Besides, that's not really a quote, it's an anecdote. You'd never fit it on a starship plaque.

Well, then just convert it into: 'Dammit God, a little help sure'd be nice!'
