Limit on Edges
Does anyone here make a limit on the number of Edges that your PCs (or characters, period) are allowed to have?
When playing Lord of the Rings (which admittedly has more Edges than can be "abused" than ST, such that it is often cheaper and makes more sense to simply pick an Edge rather than increase a Reaction), we instituted a rule limiting the number of Edges a character could have.
Star Trek seems to be more balanced than LotR, so I'm not sure any limit is really needed.
When we instituted a limit before, we had it that a character could only have as many Edges as they had Advancements. This limitied the number of "superpowers" any one character could have.
Thoughts?
