    Vulcan scout ship from Abrahms Trek

    As a TNG player, about the only thing I want to incorporate from Abrahms Trek is Spocks Vulcan Scout Vessel...

    Hang on I have a pic here;

    No, wait. I mean this one...

    Anyone done up any stats in either ICON or Spacedock?

    Very nice.

    Stats look good... Fluff is a nice touch, so in a future TNG alt. reality such a ship can continue to thrive as a specialist science shuttle, sort of like a manned probe... I imagine attached to starbases and the like, the shape is a tad large for most standard shuttlebays... Maybe the Galaxy class and the TARDIS like shuttlebay on an Intrepid???

    Just what I wanted to see, although in my mind I would be replacing La Forge with a Vulcan scientist... ;p

    I may not remember this right, but I thought Old Spock said that was the fastest ship in the Federation. Anybody else remember that? If so, it probably should have one of those warp 9.999whatever warpdrives.

    I am going with the thought that it the fastest impulse vessel. ICON does not have room ot play around with sublight speeds.

    Well, in my opinion.

    Fastest impulse ship doesn't sound too impressive, to be honest.

    I seen the Jellyfish as the vessel chosen for dealing with extreme stellar conditions in localized space. Not the type of vessel that would take weeks getting there.

    I seen the Jellyfish as more like a Bathyscaphe then a speed boat.

    I'll have to watch the movie and make some more notes.

    Unless of course you are taking evasive maneuvers in sub-light... Which most combat would be taking place in... both in on-screen action and it seems most of the starship combat in my games...

    I see what BK is saying, that the 'rules' dont give that much play with the idea in stat form, but it then becomes a bit of colourful fluff, and something that might be recited later at an opportunity that saves your skin (with the application of Courage points)...

    The first is just min-maxing and the second is a bit more dramatic/televisual...

    Of course the mission specific pod could also include a high-speed courier type with the lab module swapped out for a more powerful warp core, to give you a REALLLY fast warp courier...
