One of my players wanted to play a Foundling (Founder baby send into space), but it is to powerfull to play this is mine atempt at making it more playable.
I still need some help as The Cost of the Species is 21 for the moment and all help and comment is welcome.

-Select a basic appearance when creating a founder.
-Is an Intelligence based Professional skill (with several specialties: Objects, specific aliens..).
-You can change shape as a Full-round action.
-You can change shape into something or somebody of equal size.
-You can take the appearance of objects but not its function.
-Nothing can detect the difference between the mimicked substance and the real one.
-Changing shape costs a Courage point.
-Changing back into a basic appearance cost no Courage point.
-If mimicking a specific person you need to make an Impersonate skill check.
-Sleep = Gelatinous state.
-Heavy Stun reverts it to its gelatinous state.
-Some forms energy makes it difficult to Change Shape or even to hold on to solid shape.
-When you spend advancements, you can choose from special professional abilities, no matter
what profession you are in.

Shapechange Professional Abilities:
Quick change: Costs an Action to change shape (Upgrade = Free action)
Alter Size: You can change Size when you Shapechange
Weapon Arm: You transform one of your appendages in a melee weapon (Costs also a Courage Point)
Additional Times: You can Shape 2 times for free (No Courage point cost).
Fly: You can fly when Shape changing in a bird (prerequisites: Alter Size). (Narrators Guide pg 216)

Water Breathing: You create gills when changing in a fish.
