Questions on CODA errata? (especially NG)

1. Lets get the most basic question out of the way, all the errata is official right?

All these are for the NG errata..

2. Page 115 System DAmage Tracks- Life support E and D, is it still a random console like the original or a specific console that explodes?

3. Why remove all the availability dates from chapter 9? Are they still usable for RP purposes or they completely in error? Why were they removed?

4. The last 6 items in the errata states to change the reliability ratings but if you check them against the tables where you receive the rating from they are correct. So, is the table incorrect too? Is there a fixed table? For instance, it says on Pg. 147 to change the warp system reliability rating to C but for a Class 8 Warp system it has "E" listed as the reliability rating. All the other Warp system changes are the same.

Is the Class of the warp systems wrong too? Or is table 9.9 in error?

5. WHen something has a reliability rating of A, how does it function? Does it mean it can only take one hit?

All the errata currently posted is, in fact, official, though the oft-delayed but still upcoming Narrator's Guide 2.0 errata won't be (obviously). It was discussed with Decipher and the development team, but it never got the imprimatur.

Do you know why the availability date were removed?

Are the tables for the Warp system reliability wrong or just the ships? Should I change the Warp system to conform to the table?

I don't think there was ever an OFFICIAL answer to this question, but since I felt it was important to know I made up this house rule. As usual, low rolls are bad, mmkay. I know I posted it elsewhere but can't find it now. This calls for a re-print!

Russian roulette with a phaser: when a bridge panel explodes, who is the lucky recipient? Roll 2D6 and find out! If you’re one of those pesky 24th century types, Helm and Navigation double the flight officer’s chances for getting barbequed. Also in the 24th, substitute Operations for Communications.
