    Personally I had hopes that the character miniatures version of the game would be more like Heroclix/Horrorclix, with factions and played on different maps (engineering, alien ruins, Borg cube...etc).

    I for one am glad to see all eras of Trek represented rather than being force-fed the Abrams-verse.

    It's for showcasing at Gen Con so these are the test models. I have seen a small picture of a painted Enterprise (A) and a Bird of Prey.

    Some details on the Trek Clix game can be found here: Star Trek Clix.

    So far I am very intrigued though not so happy that it uses the same rules as standard Heroclix. Ships don't do hand to hand combat (one ship spoiled on that link has Super Strength!).

    To be honest, I have no intention of playing this game as designed. I just want those ships for tactical starship combat models in my CODA Trek RPG when I run again.
