    Thor Trailer

A brave little theory, and actually quite coherent for a system of five or seven dimensions -- if only we lived in one.

    Thumbs up

    Wow. FIVE minute trailer!

May 2011?!?! I hate it when they do that.

Wow. and it answers one question I'vw had since the 1960's - Does Thor have sideburns under all that hair?

I'll be waiting - but nearly a whole year? Wow!

WOOOOW! I had doubts about this project. (more on that later), but this looks realllly good. Like Iron Man 1 good. Hate that I have to wait sooo long for it.

Looks like they are going to use the "Ultimate Thor" origin; not the Don Blake origin from the original comics. Love the look of Asgard (thought the one overhead shot of Odin's hall looked like Kurse's helmet, but I'm probably just projecting). And the guy playing Loki reallly looks like Loki from the comics.
    Boy, Kirks dad got buff!

As to my misgivings: Pretty much every -good- marvel movie so far has been thouroughly entrenched in super science: Iron Man, X-men, Fantasitic Four, Spider Man and the Hulks are all products of science, if for no other reason than their powers derive from "scientific" sources.
However, the other side of the coin, the mystical/supernatural movies have not done as well: Electra, Ghost Rider, but Blade was pretty good. Thor is, at it's core, a magic/supernatural book. The line in the trailer about Asgard being a place where magic and science are "one and the same" might be their way to fix that.
