    Two things.

    1) I assume each crew quarters has a head/fresher, yes?

    2) Where's the mess/galley?

PS: I'm truely stunned you could actually get that many people into such a small vessel, makes you wonder what they do with all the extra space in other starships?

Also, why rotate the bridge? I know it was required for the TOS Connie, but no other ship has ever had it since (or before if you count ENT).

    CJ;

Your wish is my command. I've been tinkering with shuttle layouts. See below for the airlock version.

There is a communal head on each quarters deck in the centre core. There are small mess halls on each lab deck.

Okay, I see the head now.

    Labs are on 4, 5, & 6...

Are you sure you put one on each deck?

I haven't finalised the plans or done the detailed drawings yet. As I pointed out, it's very much a WiP.

Understood, but I thought the point of putting up the unfinished version was to get input and have people poke at it a bit?

Can I suggest that it should be more ENT in tech than TOS? Even if the Daedalus is post ENT (and we have no knowledge either way) the technology wouldn't be much better in the early version.

Not saying this is the case here, but sometimes people put up a work-in-progress to get the encouragement necessary to see it through to the end.

    Hey, Owen.

Saw your Daedalus stats a little while ago, most of the systems are pretty good/primitive, but I'm interested in knowing just what the Power Supply is doing being as big as the power supply on a Constellation Class.

First: These are really great - thanks to everyone for posting them!

Just an observation about the long range TMP shuttle plans though, particularly the "VIP shuttle"....if it's intended to be a long-range transport, having just a single billet seems way insufficient, particularly considering that it has six flight crew stations (plus presumably whatever VIPs would be carted.)

Granted, in TMP, it was only carrying Spock, but Spock is awesome and can probably run an entire Constitution-class starship with just himself, a chimpanzee, and two trainees. Most VIPs will need help. And in this configuration, if there's more than one VIP (or more than two who aren't particularly close to each other(!)) they're pretty much out of luck. I'd kill the 6-pad transporter (really not needed on this particular shuttle layout,) and use that space for additional billets, preferably bunk-style beds. Reason I say this is that, at W/F 7 (MCU), travel from Earth to Alpha Centauri will still take on the order of two days....might as well make it comfortable for people, no?

(Just my thoughts and reasoning, not intended as a criticism -- again, the deckplans look awesome, and thanks for posting.)

    Re: VIP Transport.

You are correct. I hadn't given it enough thought, obviously. BTW, I suspect that there was a crew on the transport that brought Spock to the ship in TMP. We just didn't get to see them, Vulcans not being given to useless socialising.

Nice plans, shuttles don't get as much attention as they deserve.

Re: the Daedalus - I've decided you guys are right. There's no reason to rotate the bridge, other than that's the way it was in the USS Enterprise sets,so I re-oriented it and corrected the turboshaft to fit.

Well, I've got the CAD system working on this computer, and I just finished a project from several years ago, just to get the mind wrapped around the commands again. I present to you the Centaur. I've used the designer's preference in scaling it. He says it should be scaled to the Miranda components, not the Excelsior saucer. YMMV.

I haven't labelled it, but such things as the Bridge, shuttlebay, engineering, Medical, transporter and holodeck, among others, should be obvious. it's in .PDF format, so you'll need a reader like Adobe Acrobat.
