Post 5 best Star Trek episodes ever?

Dead simple one this. Like the Subject says which are the 5 all-time best episodes of Star Trek ever.

Okay then, this is gonna be more difficult than choosing the worst 5 episodes but here goes anyway (once again, in no particular order).

    5) His Way. Okay, this is probably a little bit controversial but I really like the Vic Fontaine episodes of DS9.

    4) Best of Both Worlds Part I. Unbeleivably stunning episode. It's a shame that it commences the great tradition of Star Trek two parters consisting of a great Part I and a lousy part II.

    3) The Doomsday Machine. The BBC just showed this and I was very surprised how good it is. Great script and a good plot.

    2) The Cage. I saw this recently and it only convinced me more that it was a shame that Jeffrey Hunter was replaced by that ham actor Shatner.

    1) Tinker, tenor, doctor, spy. Another controversial decision but I like Doctor episodes of Voyager (mostly because Robert Picardo is a far better actor than everyone else in Voyager combined) and this episode is the (intentionally) funniest episode of Voyager ever.

    >2) The Best Of Both Worlds Part Two
    >The aftermath of WOLF359... Took the "mighty" Starfleet down a notch.

I specially like the part where Locutus says 'Number_One'....

And also in 'parallels' we find out the Federation didn't get so lucky in some of the other universes. I'd've liked to see Captain Riker and Lieutenant Crusher take on the Borg without Picard in 'First Contact'...

None of this break it into show cop-out for me...

    1) City on the Edge of Froever. And I hate time travel stories, but hoo boy! And the original script was BETTER!

    2) Trouble with Tribbles

    3) Best of Both Worlds, PT 1

    4) Who Mourns for Adonis?

    5) Can't remember the name...the one with Data's sentiency trial...wait, move this one to number one.

    TOS
    1. City on the Edge of Forever
    2. Doomsday Machine
    3. Mirror, Mirror
    4. Amok Time
    5. Court Martial

    TNG
    1. Inner Light
    2. Darmok
    3. Yesterday's Enterprise
    4. The First Duty
    5. Hollow Pursuits

    DS9
    - I had put DS9 on the low-priority list after the first season, and never returned to being a 'regular viewer'. However, some episodes do recommend themselves.

    1. First mirror universe episode.
    2. Vic Fontaine having to win back the casino.
    3. Trials & Tribble-ations (even though that smacked of Voyager-style time paradoxes)
    4. The series finale.

    VOY
    - No entries. I stopped watching after the first season for a number of reasons. The few times I tuned in to see if things had improved ... they hadn't.

Add Masterpiece Society, Space Seed, Amok Time, and Inner Light to my honorable mention list.

    Was Emanations really that good?

Tinker Tenor Doctor Spy, probably the best doctor episode: COmputer activate the ECS - Tuvok fire the Photonic Cannon -- simply great

The Tribble Episode of DS9: All watching Worf after recognizing that he looks very odd compared to the other Klingons - we do not talk about it, that was really a funny episode

What you leave behind Part I and End of Part II, I did not like the whole Bajor Stuff with the Pah-Wraiths but nevertheless the Battle was great and also the whole farrewell

The TNG Episode where all develop back, while Data nd Picard are on a away mission. Barclay is a spider, Work some strange monster and Picards starts to become a monkey.
