Have you ever thought about Babylon 5 in spacedock
For a while I have been wondering what a Babylon 5 space station would look like in a Star Trek Spacedock format. So I decided to generate up a version with a standard population of fifty-eight thousand lifeforms and an emergency population of two-hundred-fifty thousand total. With the resident population at two hundred fifty thousand the SU’s are around forty-four thousand.
In generating up a version I tried to keep to what Babylon 5 with bringing it over into a Star Trek version. In doing so I gave it a superior shields then that of a Federation Constitution-class of the same era in the Trek universe.
In creating the stations weapon systems I intently kept them low yield if I wanted to generate future Babylon 5 ships for the station. With the weapons and shielding at the levels where they are, the station is a secured defensive space station.
