A brave little theory, and actually quite coherent for a system of five or seven dimensions -- if only we lived in one.

I'll aways remember watching Tom Baker Dr. Who episodes with my dad, and since a lot of those were ones with Ms. Sladen, she'll always be a part of those happy childhood memories.
she will be missed

I was totally shocked when I heard the news. Being such a private person, not a lot of people knew she had been ill.
She was definitely my favorite Companion. The first episode of the new Dr Who season on Saturday 23rd April had a "In Memory of" dedication at the start of the episode on BBC 1. The CBBC channel (which shows "The Sarah Jane Adventures") had a 15 minute tribute on just after the Dr Who episode finished as well.
She will indeed be missed. And not long after Nicholas Courtney passed away as well. Condolences to her family and friends.

Fool me once, shame on you! Fool me TWICE? INCOMING!
I'm quite late for this, but I wanted to say this saddened me too when I learned it (it was through the Facebook fan page).
I began watching Doctor Who in the late Pertwee- early T. Baker era, so she was my first Dr Who companion, and I had been quite happy to see Elisabeth Sladen return in the new series.
We'll miss you, Sarah-Jane.
