Uh, they might have used Kiloquads in the episodes, but my use of Terabytes was fairly consistant, and done by me for years, following a little bit of stuff onscreen, as well as stuff from FASA, etc. with some stuff made up as well...

    TB would seem rather... dated...

You mean since we use them NOW, which would make our computers in 2011 getting better than Meteo's numbers? There's a reason that I don't particularly like his constant spamming of 'stats'...

...Then 1: I can just switch 'em with something, aand 2: what spam? How the hell is what I"m doing something slangy, or anything other than some occasional stuff from episodes and movies (or stuff based on those episodes and movies...), unofficial stuff like FASA, and stuff I make up?

...Anyway, what about the other, non-computer stuff, you see any problem with that?

Oh, and by the way, "kilo" means "thousand", and "tera" means trillion, so I think TB would actually be higher, even though going with something even higher still would probably be better.

True, but I think Klioquad was used deliberately to cover up the problem TFVanguard mentioned, of real life computers surpassing any figures using real life measurements of Star Trek computer storage capacity.

    Isn't fiction confusing?

Uh no, I think it was just something that he heard in yet another source, and my mental toughness, and many years of going through multiple sources of Trek material makes it relatively easier for me to work shit out, as well as come up with my own new stuff.

...And all too easily, as with numerous other times, this problem is due to Star Trek having a bunch of hopelessly inaccurate, unrealistic whatever floating around it, and that part (which Vance has noticed), is not my fault, I'm just trying to manage it a tad carefully, and the Continuity record I use (Eta Universe) is maintained fairly consistently, fairly well, by me, otherwise, there isn't that much I can do.

So, what keeps any of those things things from being bugs? Generations of writers that don't always keep things in sync with each other... How is that not going to lead to bugs at one point or another?
