Ummm, what sig line? None showed up under your challenging message ...

I'm assuming you're not talking about your use of the Charlie Daniels' "Devil Went Down to Georgia" lyrics -- Fire On The Mountin, Run Boy Run! The Devils In The House Of The Rising Sun... Chicken In The Breadpan Picking Out Dough. Granny Does Your Dog Bite? No Child, No! -- because that's much too easy to recognize for anybody who's over 30 years old and grew up listening to rock stations in Texas.

... Clowns to the left of me, jokers to the right, here I am ... sigh ...

Thanks, you bum, you've probably caused that song to become firmly lodged in my head all day!

FYI, for anybody who doesn't know the song, it's "Stuck in the Middle with You," by Stealers Wheel. I grew up listening to it over and over again.

And just for fun, what member of that band had tremendous success in the later 70s with the album City to City?

No looking it up, you little weasels.

Insofar as prizes go, I suppose I can offer a cameo appearance for your namesake in an upcoming episode from my online fan fiction series--assuming you care.

Does it count if I'm staring at his entry and file for work purposes?

I've got the answer, but I don't know it the way to it is acceptable. I'll not post it, just in case.

(As a note, LCM, have you gotten a winner from the Andorian Blues contest yet?)

If you knew the answer anyway, I'll award you the prize. If not, it counts as looking it up, doesn't it?

    Good choice.

Consider myself thorougly disqualified, probably from this and all other contests involving music. My job is an unfair advantage.

I just thought that it was amusing that you asked a question that the answer to was a question that came up at work. You see, a popular song by him was remade last year, and the only info we had was the band that remade it, not the original author. I had just finished finding the real author, when I read your post.

Thanks for the info, and the amusement factor. Good luck with your contest! And that Flu thing. Get better soon.
