    USS Metaluna deckplans?

I stumbled across this thread http://trekbbs.com/showthread.php?t=115599 at the TrekBBS and instantly fell madly in love with this design. What a gorgeous little early-TOS ship, maybe the most beautiful starship I've ever seen! But no deckplans, except for this profile cut-away: http://i248.photobucket.com/albums/g...nvupload-1.jpg

Has anybody seen a set of deckplans for the Metaluna? Anybody want to draw them?

If you'd like to do it, that'd be great. When I ask people to do things for free, I always hope it's something they'd like to do anyway.

I've been looking at the cross-section and thinking about how I'd lay out the decks if I could draw. Obviously the bridge goes on top, and engineering is in the engineering hull with the shuttlebay aft. I'd put sickbay in the middle of the saucer for the best possible protection, and have the transporter room next door to sickbay. Officers' quarters would be around the perimeter of the saucer, "a room with a view." Crew lounge at the front of the saucer, like 10 Forward on TNG.

If you or anybody else wants to throw in their 2 credits on the best layout of a starship, let's hear your opinion...

Hard to say, it may or may not be something I like,; it doesn't have to be, I'm tremendously flexible mentally, and to a lesser extent, physical, and I did up a *FEW* sets of Deckplans, however, I will be a while doing it, and it will be secendary ('...'tho not much...), and I'll gladly see if I can do up something, and if I do, then I'll run it by you.

...I'm also working on a huge new set of stuff for a new TOS ship, intended to be a one-off prototype, with 13 decks, and some really extensive detailing on multiple levels. IF it's done, it will be the next level in how well I design ships, demonstrating how well I do it, as well as to what extent.

...I really hope that you get to see that, or the deckplans of your ship.

...And I really hope that you get it, I am, after all, still one of the best choices for it, because I'm still experienced with the Pre-TOS and TOS ships.
