This is with the scant info so far and certain Starships rules that were followed put a bit of a change on things (Merian called a light explorer but built as a light cruiser due to it's size etc)

I am still mucking around in ICON... But I have used the Spirit class, based purely on its nice lines and the close-up of the interior through the viewports as both a scout (naming traditions USS Spirit, USS Wraith, USS Apparition, USS Ghost, USS Spectre, etc)

And a variant sub-class, used as Ambassador and Brass fast-transport, named for famed Federation Ambassadors or Presidents, ie. USS Sarek, USS T'Pau, etc, the latter varient is reduced weapons load and crew, enhanced hosting and environmental facilities...

But then my game is set a littlebit after the book storyline.

...Hey, did you know the Coda guys used some of the old FASA names for their systems, convienenyallt forgetting that in FASA, the FSQ was actually weaker than the shields used on the Excelsior?

...Also, these are the first Coda ships on the board in a long while, and they're fairly interesting to me. Thumbs up.
