    Klingon translation help needed

    Hey guys,

    I turn to you, as I seriously have no one else to turn to for this.

    For a joke with a nerdy friend I need the phrase "the question is, what is the question?" translated into klingon.

    We came upon the said sentence during an Irish PubQuiz here in my hometown, when we had been handed the sheet for the picture round but needed the 'question' as to what exactly to do with it. Hence "Die Frage ist, was ist die Frage!" came up, which translates roughly into "The Quesion is, what is the question."

    Then we just had some fun with the odd statement and wanted to have it translated into Klingon. Maybe there was a guiness too many being had, don't know for sure.

    So, is there anyone here who actually can translate this using some book or is there a link to a working klingon translator on the net that my search-fu didn't show me, when I just tried to find one?

    Thanks in advance.

    Cut

    Dont know if this is any good... But an online translator is here;
    http://www.mrklingon.org/

    Which seems to come out the other end as;
    "[The question] 'oH nuq 'oH [the question]"

    So thats probably "What is it?" or something... Hence the identifiers...

    I must thank you Cut for giving me the first occasion to use my copy of the Klingon dictionnary that was gathering dust on my shelves...

    I can't quite find the word for "question". The verb "to question" translates as yu', and I don't find either the proper suffix or prefix to turn a verb to a noun. "What [is]" translates as nuq. The verb "to be" is not used in Klingon.

    So this would give us something like: yu', nuq yu' ?, assuming verbs can be used as nouns. It's getting late so I'll search that more thoroughly tomorrow

    Oh and according to the dictionnary, 'oH actually translates as "it".

    Really? So there was I making the assumption that without a verb for question the online translator comes out as something akin to 'what is it?' and was bang on...
