    Ray Bradbury 1920-2012

Ray Bradbury, one of the last (if not the last) of the great grand masters of science fiction, died last night at the age of 91. He was the most overgrown kids in the world, and one of my greatest unsung influences. He'll be sorely missed...there'll never be another like him.

And to think I re-read The Martian Chronicles just after New Year's Day -- 20-odd years after I first read it.
